I just read my daughters comment about me complaining about the cold and rain. She said its time to think a trip to Florida or Argentina. Actually it would be a good time to head South. I saw in USA Today that Ft Myers had a high of 86. My inlaws have a place down there and I could be there in a few hours. It is tempting, maybe after Christmas. Air fares have really dropped, but so has fuel costs. Something to think about.
Did you ever notice that when your young you laugh at the Snowbirds who head south in Winter. Now I know why. I used to love snow. Since I was in Education I always had the day off when it snowed enough. That was called a snowday. I even had it down to a science. The heavy snow had to begin after 3 AM because PennDot would send their night shift home and it would take them several hours to get them back in. Always looked forward to hearing the our school number called.
The temp right now is 40 F

Yeah, no snow days to look forward to in Necochea. :( But while you guys are freezing your butts off in winter, I'll be basking in the summer sunshine. ;)
Then again, who needs snow days when you're retired?
Merry Christmas Deb, Katie, Barry and of course the star of this blog, Midnight!
One more year that I am not able to catch Santa filling our stockings and I am 35! Oh well, I realize Santa has many years doing this and he has a extensive experience... Next time!
With affection,
Daniel
