I had alot of stuff before I got married, but somehow I had places for most things and I knew exactly where I put the stuff. Sure I buy duplicates of things I already own, always good to have a spare. I have been throwing out old 5 1/2 inch floppies for days. Thought I had gotten rid of them when I found another pack of them. I think they act like rabbits and duplicate themselves. Some of the programs on the disks were really good 20 years ago. I thought about keeping them when my daughter reminded me that I don't even have a 5 1/2 drive in my computer and these programs would not run on my machine. I thought Windows 3.1 would never be obsolete.
This reminds me that I have 6 Desktop computers and 3 laptops (counting my daughters)(of course that one leaves at the end of Feb when she heads south (Way South)). I hate to throw out a good 486 machine. It has 20 Mb hard drive. Maybe a museum would want it.
I been saying a lot of strange things as I throw out stuff. Like "so that's where that went" or "Gee now I have 2 or 3 of these things".
I may have to buy a new shreader, been using the old one alot.
Midnight has a lot of stuff also, toys we bought him that we knew he would love and play with all the time. He doesn't even look at them. He has his pet beaver (stuffed beaver) and his eagle (also stuffed) and those are his. He does like pens, he steals them and hides them in his hiding place. But he is content to play with a piece of paper or chase a beam of light.
Midnight is starting to acknowledge by daughters presence here, for the first 2 weeks he tried to ignore her. But he has allowed a couple of short petting periods ( 5 secs) so maybe by the time she leaves he will get used to her.
My Wife's sister is looking forward to her new computer. Flamingo Pink is the color is asked for, she should fit in very nicely in a retirement village in Florida. You know where they have Pink Flamingos on their front yard.

The first step on the road to recovery is admitting you have a problem. haha ;)
Hi Barry!
Great you have a blog because for a non-native speaker reading is always easier than listening and transcriptions become handy.
In Argentina we don't have Thanksgiving day therefore is unclear when we should start with the Christmas preparations, however yesterday was the day of the virgin (one of thousands of catholic virgins and saints!) and considered the right day to put up the Christmas tree. May I can put up today and the naughty kittens won't knock it down!
A big hug and see you soon! Daniel
Great story B-man made me laugh
