Viewpoints

Just looked out the window and it is snowing, I mentioned before my dislike for snow. Strange that I used to live in Colorado and when I was teaching, Snow could lead to a snowday. Still remember the school closing number (470). I guess the reason I don't like snow is the shoveling and the fact that people don't remember how to drive in snow and run into things. Had a friend who grew up in Southern Florida, he never saw snow so one winter he drove up to Pennsylvania and stayed around until it snowed. He went out to drive in it and promptly totaled his car. As far as I know he has never returned to the cold North. Midnight came by to see what I was doing and left to go back to watch TV. I have to place the control so he doesn't change the channel. I noticed my sister-in-law who yelled at me for not keeping up with my blog hasn't written anything in a long while. Time to heckle. My oldest daughter leaves in two weeks, she makes a really good Mac and Cheese (almost as good as her mother's) so I need to have her make some Mac and cheese for me before she leaves. We have made all the arrangements to keep in touch (Skype and Majic Jack) but it is not the same thing as actually seeing her in person. Not sure if she understands that. But she gets her independence and her spirit from me. I never liked being in one place and life is too short to wish you had done something. It would have been nice if it was South Jersey she was moving to instead of Argentina, but whatever makes her happy is the most important thing. Besides I went down to Argentina to investigate where and with whom she was going. Her new family passed with flying colors. I feel very secure with them. Argentina is nice also except for the drivers and the fact that you can't get a few important items. On another note, as you know Midnight is a black cat, he has the habit of sleeping on black chairs or anything dark. I almost sat on him again today, maybe I showl put a light on his head so I can see him.
Well I wrote enough.

The macaroni and cheese is ALMOST as good? Just see if I make any before I leave now! :p

I know Argentina is far away, and trust me, I really do understand that talking to someone on the phone or over the Internet is not the same as being with them face-to-face (why else would I miss Daniel so much?). But you hit the nail on the head when you said that life is too short not to do the things you want to do.
